INCIDENTS

In the early days of the Brigade, the main alarms responded to were of the Grass, scrub variety, but as the years went by these were only part of the overall scene. It is obvious, after a detailed study of our record book, that the type and nature of the alarms have changed over the years.

 We now seem to get a wide range of incidents from Medical calls, M.V.A's, Properties, Rubbish,Grass,Scrub, Chemical Spills etc.

 

The first time a Fire Safety Officer was called to any of our incidents was when a garage was involved in fire in Petries Road. Since then they have been called numerous times.
