J20 4x4 Jeep - this is owned by the Waimakariri District Council but operated by the Woodend Volunteer Fire Brigade and the Woodend Rural Fire Unit under an agreement.

 Ex NZ Army at Waiouru where it used to be their Rescue Vehicle.

This appliance has a mid mounted Darley HM350 pump fitted and rated @ 25 litres per second, or 1500 litres per min. 

It is fitted with 3 Hyroblender delivery outlets, 1 for 45 mm, 70 mm hoses and 2 for 41 mm forestry deliveries. 

The Water capacity is very limited with only around 500 litres carried.
This appliance is setup as a Rural (Brush) unit and carries a full compliment of Forestry equipment for fighting rural fires.
